A lovely 2006 Epiphone G-400 SG finished in Cherry and presented in excellent condition, showing only minimal signs of use and remaining in full working order.
Bearing serial number EE061007314, this example was manufactured in October 2006 at Epiphone’s Gibson-owned Qingdao electric guitar factory in China. The EE prefix identifies Qingdao Electric, while the following digits give the year and month of production.
The G-400 was Epiphone’s long-running take on the classic SG design, featuring a mahogany body, set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and a pair of Alnico humbuckers. The lightweight double-cutaway body and 24.75" scale make it comfortable to play, while the twin-humbucker layout delivers everything from warm blues tones through to classic rock and heavier sounds.
