A fantastic 1997 Epiphone Les Paul Junior, made in Japan and finished in White, presented in very good condition for its age with the expected light signs of use and in full working order.
This early Les Paul Junior keeps things wonderfully simple: a single P-90 pickup, master volume and tone controls, and a wraparound bridge. The result is a lively, direct sound with plenty of bite, midrange growl and dynamic response – ideal for blues, rock, punk and garage styles. The 1997 Junior Series was introduced with a P-90, wraparound bridge and bolt-on mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard.
Japanese-made 1997 examples are relatively uncommon, particularly in White, making this an interesting example of Epiphone's late-'90s production. Comparable 1997 MIJ single-cut Juniors are documented with the same P-90 and wraparound configuration.
