The Rathbone RS8MCE No.8 Grand Auditorium electro acoustic guitar is an all-solid tonewood model, crafted entirely from mahogany to deliver a warm, woody tone with a naturally rich and resonant voice.

Featuring the versatile Grand Auditorium body shape, this Rathbone guitar is designed as the natural evolution of Concert and Auditorium styles. With increased lower bout width and body depth, it produces greater projection, enhanced volume, and a fuller tonal response across all frequencies.

An ideal all-rounder, the Rathbone No.8 combines the scale length of an Orchestra Model with body dimensions closer to a classic dreadnought acoustic guitar. This results in deeper bass response without sacrificing clarity—making it perfect for both fingerstyle and strumming players. Despite its larger body, the carefully contoured waist ensures excellent comfort whether seated or standing.

This electro acoustic model is fitted with a Fishman Presys preamp system and Fishman Sonicore pickup, allowing you to bring out its mature acoustic character when plugged in. With onboard EQ and tuning, you’ll have full control over your sound in live or studio settings.
