A superb Yamaha NTX1 electro-classical nylon-string guitar finished in Natural, combining the warmth and character of a classical guitar with a slimmer, more contemporary playing feel.
Part of Yamaha’s NX Series, the NTX1 is designed to feel more familiar to players coming from steel-string acoustic or electric guitar. Its 48mm nut width, radiused fingerboard, 14th-fret neck joint and slim cutaway body make it noticeably more comfortable and accessible than a traditional full-width classical guitar, while retaining a full 650mm nylon-string scale.
The solid Sitka spruce top is paired with nato or okoume back and sides, producing a clear, balanced acoustic sound with plenty of warmth and definition. For amplified use, the factory-fitted Yamaha pickup and preamp system provides natural-sounding reproduction alongside a 3-band EQ and built-in tuner, making the NTX1 equally at home on stage, in the studio or for home playing.
