The Electro-Voice PXM 12 active 12-inch floor monitor comes loaded with a 700 Watt Class-D amplifier, and so it can cover more than just a narrow slice of the stage, the housing is specifically designed to maximise spread. Extensive testing has confirmed that the PXM 12 is able to deliver 129dB for up to 500 hours before its performance starts to diminish. The internal DSP comes with four presets for EQs, high and low shelving, parametric midrange, adjustable low-cut filters and feedback notch filter and room is provided for customising and saving user presets. The PXM 12 is also easily coupled with other equipment like a subwoofer to create a fully-grown three-way system and the DSP comes with a number of calibration presets to take care of any setups that combine any speakers from the series.
